Output file as saved as format depends on the selected [[capture mode|Capure_mode]] when recording starts. If ''Screen', ''Area'', or ''Device'' capture mode is selected, an mpeg4 video output file gets generated (.mp4) files to make them . If ''Audio'' capture mode is selected, an mpeg4audio audio file (.mp4a) gets generated. Output file formats are compatible with almost any video player and editor software. Video stream is encoded in H.264 and audio stream is encoded in AAC codec.
