There are several ways to improve performance of video recording. If you want to get better record in higher frame-rate, experiencing glitches in the recorded video, or running the application on a low-end device, follow one or more instructions try the workarounds below to improve the performance of video recording.
==== Output Resolution =General Tips ===Performance improves significantly when *Choose a smaller output resolution*Choose a lower video quality*Choose a lower frame rate*Choose a smaller resolutiondifferent Capture mode is selected. It also reduces size to record smaller area of the output file.screen
==== Frame-Rate =Games ===Another important factor in improving performance is frame rate of the output size. Lower frame rate improves performance significantly. However, a very low frame rate video may also look laggy. CurrentlyIf you use Screenbits to record your gaming experience, try the default frame rate is set workarounds below to 20; if you are experiencing improve recording performance issues, we suggest you to lower the frame rate to 10.
==== Output Quality ====Lowering *Use quality of the output Hotkeys is another way to improve start recording in game rather than starting when the performance.game is minimized*Choose a lower video resolution from game options*Choose a lower video quality settings from game options
==== Capture Area ==Audio==If recording entire desktop is not necessaryyou are experiencing glitches in the recorded audio or using Screenbits on a low-end device, you may use different capture mode try the workarounds below to record smaller areaimprove quality of the recorded audio.
==== Display Resolution Use default formats ====UsuallyIf you record audio, display adapters support multiple resolutions select one of the following formats for the display. Selecting a lower resolution improves performance significantly. To lower the display resolution:audio device from Output audio settings*2 channel (stereo), 16bit, 44100 Hz *2 channel (stereo), 16bit, 48000 Hz
#Open Settings app from Action Center. #Click System to open System settings.#From the left side menu, Click Display to open Display settings.#From Resolution selector, select an smaller resolution.#Click Keep Changes to confirm === Game Settings = Select the same format for multiple devices ====If you use Screenbits to record your gaming experienceboth recording and playback devices, you can also improve performance of the app significantly by adjusting settings in gamemake sure same format is selected for both devices==== Start recording in game ====It is highly recommended To make input and output match together to start recording inperform better, select Auto for sample-game rather than starting when the game is minimized rate and then switching to the game. You can use channels from hotkeysOutput audio settings to start recording in game while the app is minimized. ==== Game Resolution ====Using lower resolutions improves performance significantly. Refer to your game options to lower the resolution, if supported. ==== Video Quality ====Lowering the video quality can also improve performance.
