Screen capture mode captures video from one or all of the system displaysdisplay. It's the default mode to capture the primary screen.  In this mode, you can also capture [[Audio_capture|capture audio]] from system sound, microphone and also capture [[Camera_overlay|camera]] as an overlay.

Screen options contain configurations to toggle capturing pointer and also applying highlight and click effects to it. This These options apply to both screen and [[Area_capture|area]] capture modes.
